My first love
I could draw before I could write, with both hands actually. My family was astounded that they could decipher what my drawings were when I was a child. This love of art grew just as steadily as I did: moving from crayons and crafts, to hyperrealistic drawings and metalworking. Art was the only factor that mattered when it came to choosing my college and major, so naturally I ended up at the #1 public art school: VCU Arts. I went on to be a jewelry designer only to change my major at the beginning of my junior year to focus on graphics and communication in tandem.
My beginnings were humble but respectable.
